Boom Town Outfit 2: Sequins & Oversized Denim

Day 2 of Boom Town was a sunny Saturday and was all about dressing up that little bit more sparkly for a night out amongst the craziness.
I decided to go full-on-sequin with this dress from Pretty Little Thing for £30. I love the black, purple & greeny peacock tones of the giant sequins. For me this is a little bit more of a daring outfit, but isn't too in your face at the same time, which is perfect for me as I prefer more muted tones (and the occasional splash of colour when I'm feeling too dull.)
I paired the dress with my trusty studded Missguided boots (£45) and over-sized denim jacket also from Missguided for £45. I am pretty obsessed with this ripped denim jacket, it's perfect for throwing over most outfits to add a more casual & laid back vibe. It was a bonus that I was able to wear it with every outfit over the weekend when it got a bit chilly in the evenings. (You can check out my Day 1 outfit here in my previous blog post!) This is such a versatile jacket that can be worn in so many different ways; I'm looking forward to pairing it with more denim, t-shirts and jumpers as Autumn fast approaches.
Of course I completed the look with some cute stars & crescent moon glitter, along with my favourite Barry M Matte Me Up Liquid Lip in 'Embellish' to pull all the tones together!
